Serialization exception on Visit object

coriolisguy
Hi all,

Can someone help me with this exception on JBoss. Is
the Visit object supposed to be serializable?

Thanks
E

RE: Serialization exception on Visit object

richard.hensley
Yes, your Visit object should be serializable. It is stored in the Session
which can be serialized by the container.

You're going to need to implement serializable on your visit object
as it'll get passed around with the session in serialized form from time to
time. For most stuff, the default java serialization works fine, so all you
really need to do is add an "implements serializable" to the class
definition and give yourself a serialversionid.
